Appointment service
This practice operates an appointment-only service. All patients must have a booked appointment to be seen, which can be arranged by contacting the practice.
On contacting the practice you will be offered an appointment; this may be telephone or face to face; routine or same day depending on clinical urgency.
If you have an urgent medical concern out of surgery opening hours, please contact NHS 111 for advice, or call 999 in a life-threatening emergency. This approach ensures that care is delivered safely, fairly, and in accordance with current NHS guidance.

If you need an urgent or same‑day appointment, please phone the surgery on 01749 672137. Urgent or same‑day requests cannot be made through the online form.

Karen Polly retires as Managing Partner
Karen will be retiring this summer from her role as Managing Partner at Wells Health Centre.
Since joining the practice in 2014, Karen has shown unwavering commitment, professionalism and care in everything she has done. Her hard work, leadership and support have been felt by all and she will be missed by everyone at Wells Health Centre.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all that Karen has done over the years and wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement, with every success and happiness for the future.
We look forward to welcoming our new Senior Business and Operations manager later this year and will share more news with patients when they join the practice.
Welcoming Bella Vowles to Her New Role
We are delighted to announce that Bella Vowles has been appointed as our Finance and Operations Manager at Wells Health Centre.
Many of our patients will already know Bella from her role as Operations Manager. In her expanded position, Bella will continue to oversee the day-to-day running of the practice while taking on responsibility for the financial management of Wells Health Centre.
